MiHoYo’s Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) nears its one-month anniversary and we’ll soon welcome the highly-anticipated version 1.1 update. Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 will see new characters enter New Eridu including more events, location revamps, and commissions. Read below forZZZ 1.1’s release date, banners, and other confirmed details.
When is Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 release date?
Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 will be released on August 14th, 2024.The big update is set to arrive after the 6-week cycle ends, a timeframe often used by miHOYo for version updates. It also aligns with the end date ofZhu Yuan’s banner.

Jane Doe is the next featured Agent in Zenless Zone Zero set to arrive with her own banner. But what other upcoming banners can we anticipate? Find out here!

The next banner in the 1.1 update will featureQingyi, Jane Doe, and Seth Lowell. Qingyi will be featured in the first-phase of 1.1 with her banner “Untainted Jade”. Meanwhile, Jane Doe and Seth Lowell will arrive in the latter half.
The new Agents were confirmed after miHoYo revealed the 1.1 livestream poster featuring the three new Agents. These are the faces of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team of theNew Eridu Public Security (NEPS) faction. Note that on paper, Jane Doe doesn’t have a faction.
It is speculated thatJane Doewill be the featured Physical Attribute S-Rank Agent in the Exclusive Channel.Qingyiis also leaked as an S-Rank Electric Pierce Anomaly andSeth Lowellis supposedly an A-Rank Electric Defense. On top of new characters (Agents), weapons (W-Engines), and missions, miHoYo teased plenty of new features and adjustments in the first volume of its Ridu Renovation Talk. The developers revealed that players canexplore New Eridu as the protagonist of the current mission, which means you may be able to walk around as any other Agent and not just Belle or Wise.
It is also revealed that Zenless Zone Zero combat will soon havemanual and cancellable Chain Attacks- making combat more flexible for players. Attribute Resistance and weaknesses of Ethereals will be made more visible. We will also seemore difficult combat challengesin the upcoming update. MiHoYo also teasedmore Inter-Knot profile picture choicesandcustomizable mobile controls.
