New bomb inspect animations, water graphics and now Chickens can swim. CS:GO is changing.
The latest CS2 update has a small addition that has the entire community up in excitement. The update brings changes to a couple of maps and quite a few bug fixes. But the change that is the talk of the community is Valve now teaching chickens to swim.
Yes, you read that right. Chickens can now swim in Counter-Strike. The latest CS:GO update has some changes to Anubis and Ancient. But the community is abuzz with chickens’ newfound ability to swim in CS:GO.
Cluck Cluck Everywhere (Chickens in CS:GO)
Chickens are now available on more maps than before. You will find chickens on Anubis and even Ancient. And chickens can swim. Yes, you’ve read it repeatedly by now, and you just want to see it. Here’s a clip.
Before this update, chickens would roam around the map but mostly stick to non-liquid surfaces. Now chickens can swim in water bodies as well. Don’t be surprised if you find a few opponents staring at chickens swimming for some time.
There are also new water animations in CS:GO. The water splash animations make the game look much more realistic, although it will be interesting to see if there are any changes to pro games because of this.
New Bomb inspect animations
There’s also a brand-new Bomb inspect animation. The in-game character now turns the bomb when you inspect it. After nearly a decade of simple inspection animations, this new animation comes as a breath of fresh air.
So if you are one of those players that simply forgets the bomb in spawn, you can rest assured players are going to compete to pick up the C4 now. The new animations might seem risky if compared to real-life situations, but thankfully, this is just a video game.
