After around five months of playtime, a large segment ofModern Warfare 3andWarzoneplayers have already completed the weapon camo grind. There isn’t much left to do after unlocking Interstellar and Borealis weapon mastery camos, so Sledgehammer Games decided to introduce a brand new grind for players to start chipping away at.
How to unlock weapon prestige camos inMW3andWarzone
Max weapon level is the only prerequisite to starting the unlock process for weapon prestige camos. After reaching the max level,players must earn 150k weapon XP to unlock the weapon prestige camo for that weapon. This new feature is on a per-weapon basis and doesn’t have to be completed in any specific order.
Sledgehammer Games gave fans a preview of what the molten gold animated camo looks like onTwitter, and this won’t be the final option. The devsconfirmedthat four weapon prestige camos will be introduced throughout the next several seasonal updates. Each new camo will have a different weapon XP requirement to keep players busy for the rest ofMW3’slife cycle.
