The VALORANT Champions Tour is back. And in the Americas league,plenty of new-look teamshope to do some real damage. They’ll begin 2024 with the VCT Americas Kickoff tournament. This is their first true chance to show what they’re made of, with a trip to Masters Madrid at stake.

The VCT Americas Kickoff tournament will be live on a multitude of channels. There will be co-streams, official broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube, and alternate language broadcasts you can view. Or you can sit right here with us as we bring you the results.
VCT Americas Kickoff format, schedule, and results
With 11 teams in place,the format may come off as a bit strange. Announced earlier in the year, the VCT Americas Kickoff tournament for 2024 has three different stages.
The double elimination Group Stage involves three groups, two of four teams and one of three teams. The highest placement at Champions for the region guarantees a bye to the second round of the three team Group C.
Following the Group Stage is a Play-In Stage. The top teams from each group skip this portion of the VCT Americas Kickoff event. The second team to qualify from each group ends up here, in a Round Robin format to send just one team to the final stage.
The Playoff Stage is the culmination of the tournament. A single elimination bracket of the Play-In winner and the three group winners determines the two teams in VCT Americas heading to Masters Madrid. The winner of that Grand Final receives Championship Points towards Champions at the end of the season.

Playoff Stage
The Playoff Stage of the VCT Americas Kickoff, again, is a single elimination bracket. The Semifinal round sees two best-of-three contests. The Grand Final match up is a best-of-five to close things out between the two Masters Madrid representatives.
