The HRM-9 has been the dominant SMG inWarzoneSeason 2, but FaZe Swagg thinks the new meta VEL 46 class setup could unseat it as the battle royale’s best close-quarters gun.

Good aim, smart positioning, and a healthy dose of luck are all crucial to getting wins inWarzone, but if you’re not using the best guns, you’re always going to find yourself at a disadvantage. That’s why people are always trying out new loadouts and attachments, hoping to find the game’s next meta.

TheHRM-9isWarzone‘s current SMG king, but according to FaZe Swagg, the VEL 46, better known as the MP7, may just be the gun to usurp it.

“I hadn’t used that gun in a minute,” the FaZe streamer explained. “When I tell you I was gunning every single person with the HRM-9—I couldn’t believe how good this thing was. Everyone was spamming ‘What’s this MP7 class?'”

After seeing this video, I went intoWarzoneand tried it out for myself, and I have to say, it felt really nice. I found it pretty easy to control, and felt that it was powerful enough to stand up to the HRM-9.

I don’t know for sure if it’ll unseat the HRM-9 asWarzone‘s best SMG, but I think it’s definitely viable, and players better than me might get even more performance out of it.
