Thundurus, in the Therian Forme is back in Pokémon GO Raids on February 26 as part of the Road to Unova event. This will include a special Raid hour from 6 p.m until 7 p.m.
Thundurus has two Formes in Pokémon GO, the Incarnate and Therian. The Therian forme is a lot stronger, and places Therian Forme Thundurus amongst the very best Electric-type Pokémon in the game. It sits as the third best non-mega/non-shadow Electric-type, and is better than Mega Ampharos and Raikou!

Best Therian Thundurus counters in Pokémon GO:
Therian Thundurus has a weakness to Ice and Rock-type attacks in Pokémon GO. It has several resistances, which are to Bug, Fighting, Flying, Grass, Ground and Steel-type attacks.
Here are the best counters you can use when raiding for Therian Thundurus in Pokémon GO.
The two very best Therian Forme Thundurus counters in Pokémon GO aren’t listed yet. These areBlack KyuremandWhite Kyurem. These won’t yet be avaliable to most Trainers on the 26th. Only those who headed to an in-person Unova Tour event will have access to these fearsome Pokémon. So, we haven’t included these but use them if you do have them.
However, there are still a lot of recently avaliable Pokémon that are good counters to use against Therian Forme Thundurus in the game. you’re able to get Galarian Darmanitan from 7 km Eggs, Mamoswine, Rampardos and Rhyperior are all also easily avaliable in game at the moment. These are all good budget options that should be cheaper to power up, with candy more common to have than for Legendary Pokémon.
