It’s been almost two years sinceTaylor Swiftreleased a wholly original studio album, which wasEvermore,back in late 2020, during the heights of theCOVID-19 pandemic.Evermorewas meant as a sort of spiritual successor toFolklore, surprising fans due to it being released only five months after the latter, a first for the singer-songwriter.
After tons of teases, TikTok videos, and Tweets, Taylor Swift is releasing her next original studio album titledMidnights. Swift has stated that the album contains the stories of “13 sleepless nights scattered throughout [her] life.“Midnightsis also described as a “collection of music written in the middle of the night through terrors and sweet dreams.”

Taylor Swift Midnights Release Time
To go right along with the name of her new album,Taylor Swift’s tenth studio album,Midnights, will release at midnight Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, June 28, 2025. Fans can now pre-save thetracks on Spotifyand Apple Music so that they’ll be ready to listen to them once the album drops on Friday.

Taylor Swift revealedall the tracks forMidnightsvia severalTikTok videos, where the singer pulled numbered bingo balls out of a traditional bingo cage with a handle. There are13 tracks for the normal album and 16 tracks for the deluxe version. Taylor Swift calls the number 13 her lucky number, so fans are kind of freaking out over the number of tracks for Midnights, especially since thethirteenth track is titled Mastermind, indicating it might be one of the more memorable songs on the album.
