Rocket League introduces a new upgrade of Team Goal Explosions as the final Esports Shop update of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2021-22 Season.
Rocket League will finally release a long-awaited upgrade, the Team Goal Explosions. We saw a sneak peek of what is to come in the teaser trailer of Season 7, which shows a G2 logo Goal Explosion. And now the RLCS 2021-22 Goal Explosions are arriving soon! This upgrade is the final Esports Shop update of the RLCS 2021-22 Season. It will be available on the Esports Shop tomorrow on 28 July 2025.
Now, we can show our support for our favourite teams with the new Rocket League Team Goal Explosions!
What is a Goal Explosion in Rocket League?
Goal Explosions are a set of animations triggered after a player scores a goal. Rocket League has a lot of different, creative designs of Goal Explosions that make every goal more exciting and memorable. It is a customizable option and players can purchase the Goal Explosions in the Item Shop or trade with each other.
What teams will receive the Team Goal Explosion upgrade?
Overall, nineteen teams will receive the Goal Explosion upgrade that will be added to the Esports Shop. It features 8 European teams, 8 North American teams, 2 Oceanian teams and 1 South American team.

Where can you buy Goal Explosions?
The Goal Explosions will be available on the Esports Shop Tab. They can be purchased in the Esports Shop Tab for 500 Esports Tokens ($4.95USD) each. Esports Tokens is a currency in Rocket League that can be used to purchase Esports Shop items and it is available in various bundles.
