It’s safe to say that the upcomingResident Evil 3remake is one of the most highly anticipated horror games in recent memory. Having just been officially announced by Capcom last month, the update to the survival-horror classic is looking to build on the momentum ofResident Evil 2. With its release date just a few months away, Capcom has been building hype for the game with trailers and screenshots, but even so, there are many aspects of it that remain a mystery.

Something that’s unclear about the upcomingResident Evil 3remake is whether or not it will bring back the crow enemy type. Crows were featured in many of the classicResident Evilgames, but have been largely phased out of the franchise sinceResident Evil 4, where they weren’t even hostile to the player. Crows were cut from theResident Evil 2remake for unknown reasons, and there’s been no evidence that they will return inResident Evil 3, until now.

As spotted by RelyOnHorror’s Rourke Keegan, Capcom’s Tsuyoshi Otani, the marketing planner for theResident EvilAmbassador Program, recently tweeted out a video showing a ton of crows. This is far from a confirmation that theResident Evil 3remake will be bringing back crows, but it’s easy to see how some fans are interpreting it as a tease.

While we don’t know if crows are coming back in theResident Evil 3remake, we do know of a number of other enemies that will be featured in the game. Of course, the classic zombies will be featured quite heavily, and theHunters will also be making an appearance, serving as some of the deadliest monsters players will encounter.

Besides these smaller enemy types,Resident Evil 3players also have to contend with the game’s titular threat - the Nemesis. Capcom recently released aNemesis trailershowing the hulking monstrosity in action, showing off his flamethrower and rocket launcher weapons that he will use to hunt down Jill Valentine in Raccoon City.

Based on what we’ve seen of the enemies so far,Jill Valentineand the rest of theResident Evil 3cast will have their work cut out for them come the game’s release date in April.

Resident Evil 3will launch on April 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
