Journey: A Hip Hop Excursionsamples tunes from the soundtrack and reinterprets them while retaining the originals’ melodious atmosphere. Now, I’ve posted enough instrumental remixes on Dtoid to understand that some of you may not always appreciate the treatment of the source material. I will even admit that Random’s “Born for This” and “Road of Trials” mixes are a little heavy on the repetitive drum beats. However, “Apotheosis” and especially “Threshold”are reworked extremely well. In fact, you may not even recognize the source tracks right away!
