Destiny 2

Guides

The first non-Exotic Stasis glaive is here, and it’s a must-have for those playing the subclass.

The first Stasis non-Heavy glaive has arrived in Destiny 2 in the form of the Rake Angle. This aggressive glaive features a powerful frontal shield as well as some cool perks (no pun intended).

Destiny 2

Seriously, Rake Angle is a perfect addition to any endgame Stasis build. Here’s the Rake Angle god roll in Destiny 2.

What is the Rake Angle god roll in Destiny 2?

Rake Angle PvE god roll

A Stasis glaive with Rimestealer and Chill Clip? Stasis fans will definitely want to look into getting this roll on Rake Angle. Use the ranged attack to apply Chill Clip’s slow effect, then defeat slowed enemies to acquire Frost Armor.

This Rake Angle roll works great with a build that uses Glacier Grenades as Rimestealer also activates when destroying the crystals that spawn. Chill Clip is a brilliant perk, especially for endgame content, so if you’re not sold on Rimestealer I’d recommend pairing it with Replenishing Aegis for faster blocks.

Otherwise, look for an Overflow roll to fire the glaive to your heart’s content on ammo pickup!

Rake Angle PvP god roll

Glaives aren’t seen all that often in PvP, but we’ve got a great Crucible roll for you here. We’re going all-out on range and velocity with Impulse Amplifier and Unstoppable Force. Blocking damage increases the potency of your next shot, while Impulse Amplifier drastically increases your velocity and range.

Reload speed takes a hit here, but given it’s a special weapon, you won’t be reloading all that often. Grab an auto-reload mod on your boots to feed ammo into the glaive for your next shot.

Between Ballistic Tuning, Accurized Rounds, the above traits, and a Range masterwork, you should have plenty of range with this Rake Angle. If it’s not enough, throw on a Ballistics mod. If you find the range fine, focus on the handling stat next.

How to get Rake Angle in Destiny 2

Rake Angle is a Nightfall weapon in Destiny 2. You must complete it’s attached Nightfall activity and get one to drop before you can reroll for a better version.

Once you’ve got one, you can save and spend your Vanguard Engrams to roll for the perks you want. This weapon cannot be crafted. To enhance its perks, you must level the weapon up and unlock tier three enhancement.

You can also land an Adept version of the Rake Angle by completing Grandmaster Nightfalls during the week it rotates in.
