The next Pokémon GO Community Day will feature JQuaxly. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers a chance to grab a Shiny Quaxly for the first time ever, and get a Quaquaval with exclusive move, Hydro Cannon.

Quaxly Community Day takes place Sunday, July 20 from 2 p.m until 5 p.m local time.

This is a really exciting Community Day, as it is the debut for shiny Quaxly. Quaquaval is set to be a pretty strong Water-type attacker with Hydro Cannon. We also have a great Stardust bonus too. So, this is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.

The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Quaxly Community Day in Pokémon GO.

*These bonuses are active until 10pm local time.

There will also be a revamped $2 Research Ticket and special item-bundles in the Pokémon GO Store.

During the event times, Quaxly will be appearing much more frequently in the wild. You’ll also have a increased chance of catching a Shiny Quaxly for the first time ever.

There will also be a featured move for evolving Quaxly. Any Quaxwell evolved into Quaquaval during Quaxly Pokémon GO Community Day will learn Hydro Cannon, a Water-type move. If you have any Quaquaval already, the only way they can learn this move is through an Elite TM.

In addition, starting on Community Day, and continuing afterwards, Quaquaval will will be able to learn the Charged Attack Aqua Step.

Quaxly Community Day: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks

This Quaxly Pokémon GO Community Day is primarily a great chance to get a Shiny of a new Pokémon if you don’t have it already. We also have the hugely popular 3x Stardust bonus on offer.

That means you will want to have a single focus during this event. Catch, catch catch! You can farm a lot of Stardust during these three hours, especially if you can use a Star Piece too.

Don’t forget to stack up the Field Research that can give you encounters with Special Background Quaxly. This includes win a five star Raid and Trade a Pokémon. Doing multiple of these at once saves you Raid Passes and time!

There is no XP bonus for this event, instead focused on just Stardust. However, you may still get some good XP gains from the event anyway.
