The ALGS is once again in the midst of a wide ranging ‘rostermania’ with some of the biggest teams making changes.
The conclusion of the ALGS Open has kicked off a mid-season Rostermania across the vast majority of teams in the EMEA and Americas regions. Changes are impacting teams up and down the Pro League, with well performing and underperforming teams choosing to make adjustments.

This has included some major names, with the likes of NRG and Envy amongst those who will resume the Pro League with a different roster than they left off with before heading to New Orleans. In ALGS Year 5, teams are limited to 2 roster changes per split. That makes such a huge wave of activity even more significant than before.

We might even see an entire Pro League spot vanish completely in the EMEA region. Due to roster change rules the Ninjas In Pyjamas slot is set to disappear completelyaccording to Gnaske. Both Amphy and Naghz have moved on, and SirDel was picked up as a temporary substitute. This used one of the two avaliable roster change slots. However, Gnaske needs two new additions to field a full team for the rest of the split. That means he cannot actually acquire the players he needs to move forward.

The organisation has benched the roster and is understood to be in the process of signing a new team.
