FromBayonetta 3toZelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Nintendo said that they were going to give us a Direct aimed mostly at “games releasing this winter,” and they extended beyond the reaches of 2022 this time around. While a packed January and February are now in the cards, we got some insight all the way up through May, withThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Now this handy Nintendo infographic provides a full picture of what’s to come with 2022 Switch games into 2023.
The updated infographic comesstraight from Nintendo’s Twitter account, which leads off withZelda: Tears of the Kingdom, then very smoothly leads with first-party games. We havePikmin 4finally confirmed for 2023, as well as a newFire Emblemand aKirbyremaster. The recently-releasedSplatoon 3and theXenoblade Chronicles 3/Mario Kart 8 Deluxeseason passes are included too. In the near future for first-party 2022 Switch games,Bayonetta 3andMario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hopeare arriving in October, withPokemonScarletandVioletending the year in November with what will certainly be a big splash, sales-wise.

Third parties aren’t left out either, as several Switch ports are given time to shine (likeIt Takes Two,Sifu,andTunic), mixed in with remakes likeFront Mission 1standFront Mission 2. You can check everything out in the image below, or watch the Direct for yourself.Or check out our recap!
2023 is gearing up to be a triumphant return for many studios following copious amounts of delays; but folks who partake in multiple platforms have a ton left to look forward to, even as the year comes to a close.
