Recently, acountdown timerappeared for a newMechWarriorproject calledMechWarrior Tactics. Jordan speculated the timer would lead up to a huge revelation of information about the game sometime this week. And wouldn’t you know it? That’s exactly what we got.
Tacticswill be a turn-based strategy game where you’ll command a squad of four mechs and side with one of five factions. After each battle you’ll get new mechs and upgrades or you have the option of just purchasing the combat and cosmetic resources. It will also use a free-to-play system and will of course have online multiplayer and leaderboards. You can stillreserve a Commander name, so definitely don’t miss out on that while you wait forMechWarrior Tacticsto launch sometime this year.
