The latest League of Legends (LoL) patch notes are out! This patch involves balance updates across all of available queues, Mel buffs, Annie changes, and more. Read on for all of the LoL patch 25.08 notes and details.
LoL patch 25.08 notes
Here are all of the LoL patch 25.08 notes, as provided by Riot Games. In terms of highlights, nerfs gio to Gwen, Lulu, Tristana, Yone, Yorik, and Yuumi. Meanwhile, buffs go to Blitzcrank, Brand Hwei, Mel, Renekton, Shen, Singed, Sona, Xerath, Zeri, and Zoe. As for adjustments, they affect Annie, Ahri, and Syndra.
The item updates hope to make ones such as Cryptbloom, Opportunity and Overlord’s Bloodmail more viable again. In terms of the Mel buffs, the champion was previously nerfed because of her high ban rate. However, Riot Games now aims to restore some of her power in a way that feels fair to play against.
As for Annie, she gets changes that shift power from Tibbers' sustained damage into her spellcasts to make her feel more impactful in matches. The developers are also following up on recent reworks for champions like Gwen and Yorick.

In addition to all of these adjustments, players can look forward to skins such as the Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser, Fatebreaker Taric, Fatebreaker Malzahar, Fatemaker Nasus ones in this patch. Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser, in particular, is also slated to get some improvements in terms of visual and sound effects by the time LoL patch 25.09 goes live.
