In a stream that amassed nearly 200,000 viewers, Kai Cenat officially revealed his Fortnite skin while confirming a Sept. 12 release date!
It’s official — Fortnite’s newest Icon Series member is none other than the popular streamer and content creator Kai Cenat. A formal reveal occurred early on Aug. 19, confirming what Kai Cenat’s Fortnite skin would look like while giving fans a release date. Here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s latest massive collaboration.
Fortnite confirms Sept. 19 release date for Kai Cenat’s Icon Series skin
In what has to be a multi-million dollar advertising spot, the announcement went down simultaneously on Kai Cenat’s Twitch channel and at the Las Vegas Sphere. This gave fans a first look at the content creators' in-game appearance. Additionally, the reveal confirmed a Friday, Sept. 12 release date forKai Cenat’s Fortnite skin and accessories.
The clip has since gone viral, amassing millions upon millions of views in just a couple of hours. On top of providing a first look at his Fortnite skin, the streamer announced Mafiathon 3, a livestream marathonthat has shattered Twitch recordsin the past.
As for the Fortnite cosmetics themselves, we only caught a brief glimpse of what to expect. Presuming Kai Cenat will have multiple alternate styles, his default cosmetics include the streamer in a white tank top, with red camouflage shorts to match a red camouflage hat.
The Pickaxe and Outfit features the AMP branding made famous by Kai Cenat’s content creation group. Lastly, the collaboration also includes a tribute to the streamer’s late hamster Lil Cenat, who passed away in 2024.
