The VALORANT Champions Tour in 2023 was the stuff of dreams. Evil Geniuses were the most overlooked team to start the season, and with some help from MIBR, they saw some post-season action. Now, the last member of that fondly remembered Evil Geniuses roster, Alexander “jawgemo” Mor is gone.
The team would place 3rd overall in VCT Americas, take 2nd at VCT Masters Tokyo, then move on towin VALORANT Champions 2023 in Los Angeles. It was underdog story through and through, but all good things must come to an end.

Fast forward to post-Champions 2024 andthe rostermania is in full swing. There have been rumors galore of players moving regions, getting dropped, signing with unexpected teams, you name it. A big one is that of Jawgemo leaving Evil Geniuses to join up with G2.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2023 winner jawgemo has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join G2 Esports for the next VALORANT season.

Well, G2 just released Jacob “icy” Lange, leaving a spot open on their roster. If the rumors turn out to be true, you bet we’ll have some updated news for you here. Until then, all we know is Jawgemo has left Evil Geniuses.
G2 Esports may very well be next. Any way it shapes out, Jawgemo will be an asset to the team he signs with. Not only as a player, but as a teammate. He has shown improvement in his confidence, ability to lead, and has truly become a beloved personality in the scene.
