And then there we none. Jawgemo is out of Evil Geniuses, and will undoubtedly sign elsewhere to play VALORANT in 2025.

The VALORANT Champions Tour in 2023 was the stuff of dreams. Evil Geniuses were the most overlooked team to start the season, and with some help from MIBR, they saw some post-season action. Now, the last member of that fondly remembered Evil Geniuses roster, Alexander “jawgemo” Mor is gone.

The team would place 3rd overall in VCT Americas, take 2nd at VCT Masters Tokyo, then move on towin VALORANT Champions 2023 in Los Angeles. It was underdog story through and through, but all good things must come to an end.

Evil Geniuses confirms Jawgemo exit amidst G2 rumors

Word spread quick about Evil Geniuseswanting to exit esports as a whole. The org has a stake in the VCT partnership program, however, so that is unlikely. Still, it led to just about everyone who hoisted that Champions trophy to leave the team.

We saw Demon1 and Ethan head to NRG. C0M made his way to Leviatán. And Boostio took over the IGL role at 100 Thieves. All that remained was Jawgemo and coach Christine “Potter” Chi. They built a new team that looked solid throughout the 2024 season, but could not replicate the 2023 success.
