Redshirting is a strategic move that coaches make in collegiate football. If a player receives a redshirt designation, they are still a part of the team withthe ability to practice, but they do not play in actual games for the year they receive the redshirt.

How to make a custom playbook in College Football 25
In College Football 25, you can create your own custom playbook that includes the offensive and defensive plays you’re most familiar with.
If you do not feature in at least four games during your freshman season in RTG, you are eligible to redshirt. At the end of the season, the game will apply it to you for another season of eligibility if the AI deems it necessary.
Dynasty
InCollege Football 25’s Dynasty mode, you can select which players you want to redshirt. At the main section of Dynasty, navigate to the Team menu. You’ll see the Redshirts option.

Locate the player you’d like to apply the redshirt to and simply press the X (PS5) or A (Xbox) button. The (RS) will appear next to their name now indicating they have a redshirt for that season.
