Fortnitemares 2024 arrives later today once downtime has included. Here is what you can expect when the servers are up!
Fortnite’s annualHalloween-themed eventis nearly upon us. Later today, once downtime concludes, the next few weeks will feature a spooky backdrop as the game shifts gears to Fortnitemares 2024. FromBilly the Puppetto Leatherface and Witch Brooms to Chainsaws, Epic Games packed this year’s event with content. Here is everything new and a complete list of Fortnitemares 2024 patch notes!
Fortnitemares 2024 patch notes: New weapons and returning items
The loot pool always provides diversity in the annual Fortnite Halloween event. As expected, the Witch Broom, Wood Stake Shotgun, Pumpkin Launcher, and Halloween Candy will be available throughout Fortnitemares. You can find these items abundantly across the map in Chests and on the ground.
Two new items have also spawned for the first time: the Chainsaw and Billy Boom. Respectively themed to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw, these two items will enhance your gameplay experience to a frightening level.

New weapons
Jigsaw’s Challenge gameplay element
Jigsaw’s Challenge is another fun addition to this year’s Fortnitemares, serving as a “bounty” replacement. During the event, you will stumble across TV monitors with Billy the Puppet displayed on them. Once you interact with the screen, your character will wear a Billy mask and be challenged to find and duel an opponent.
You must eliminate the target in time, or the mask will explode. However, if you are successful, you and your squad will receive some of the loot listed in the previous section.

Horde Rush LTM returns via the Fortnitemares 2024 patch notes
Fortnite’s version of a zombie game mode is back for the second consecutive year. The Horde Rush LTM pits you and your teammates against Cube Monsters. Epic Games has added Mod Benches in Fortnitemares 2024, allowing you to upgrade your weapons. Your goal in Horde Rush is to survive waves of Cube Monsters and defeat the final boss while racking up points.
Fortnitemares 2024 Questline Rewards
Eleven unique rewards are available during Fortnitemares 2024 via the Fortnitemares XP Quests. The Quests below will unlock progressively throughout the event, and upon completing eleven, you will receive every item outlined below.
