A quiet Fortnite hotfix update went live this morning, adding the new Tactical DMR and two Reality Augments. The Tactical DMR leaked during the last update’s downtime, as did the new Reality Augments. They are now available in Fortnite; we have the Fortnite patch notes and all the information you need!
Tactical DMR in Fortnite: Stats, locations, and how to use
The Tactical DMR is another version of the DMR that has been in Fortnite for some time. you’re able to expect a moderate fire rate, two zoom options, and a generous scope and reticle. The best way to utilize this weapon is long-range for the reasons we just outlined.
It comes in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. You can find this weapon in all the usual areas, including on the ground, Chests, Hotspot Drones, Display Cases, and Fishing Spots.

Two new Reality Augments: Ninja Training and Shrub Mud
Two new Reality Augments are joining the Tactical DMR via this Fortnite hotfix update: Ninja Training and Shrub Mud. Ninja Training allows for increased movement speed while crouching–something all players could find helpful. This augment makes it easier to sneak up on unsuspecting opponents.
Shrub Mud covers your player in mud when hiding in bushes, leaf piles, and tall grass. This augment is helpful for mobility, as you can travel across the map quickly. Ninja Training is the better option, but both are unique additions to an already expansive list of Reality Augments.
