The Dota year comes to a close in Thailand.
The Dota 2 competitive calendar for 2024 came to a close with a million-dollar tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. Twelve teams arrived in southeast Asia vying to close out the year with a win, and no one pulled punches.
Many teams have undergone roster changes post-The International, meaning this event was truly wide open. Here’s everything you need to know about ESL One Bangkok 2024 including a full match schedule, results, streams, and more.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 format and teams
ESL One Bangkok was a Dota 2 tournament featuring 12 teams. The tournament closed out the 2024 competitive Dota 2 calendar and included a huge million-dollar prize pool as well as critical ESL Pro Tour points needed to qualify for future events.
The 12 teams were split into two groups where they played out a round-robin stage. All matches were best-of-two. Teams were then sorted based on winning record, with:

The remaining teams played out a best-of-three double-elimination bracket. The final three days of the event were played in the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, with the winner of the best-of-five final walking away with $300,000 cash.
