Schedule 1is a different type of fun when you’re playing with friends, but there are certain limitations regarding crossplay support.
The new release has surprised the gaming world, and it’s available on Steam in early access. Unfortunately,Schedule 1is limited in accessibility, preventing console players from enjoying the content. It’s the same reasonwe don’t have crossplayin the game now, as PC players face no platform-based restrictions when playing in the same lobby.

Is Schedule 1 cross-platform?
Again,Schedule 1is exclusively available on PC only and will likely remain so until early access is over. This pattern is followed by indies and AAA titles likeBaldur’s Gate 3. Games tend to get console launches only after completing early access on PC.
WhetherSchedule 1will eventually arrive on Xbox and PlayStation consoles remains to be seen. As of this writing, there hasn’t been any information about future console releases. You’ll also face problems if you attempt to load the game on aMac. There’s no native support for Apple’s devices; the only alternative is using a Virtual Machine (although they’re highly unoptimized).

Will Schedule 1 have crossplay?
The answer will depend on whether we get a console release in the future. If the game remains available only on PC, the question of crossplay becomes redundant. IfSchedule 1gets a console release, we will have crossplay support. But that’s just my prediction, and there’s no official news at the moment.
If you’re on PC, you can play with up to three other people in the same lobby. As I said, playing with your friends allows you to have a different type of experience, as you’ll rely less on the dealers and make decisions that are not possible playing solo.
