Disguised organization officially disbanded their VALORANT team after Riot Games announced an exclusive streaming partnership with SOOP.
Created in 2023 by the streamer Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, Diseguised is an esports organization with a presence in multiple esports like League of Legends, Tekken 8, and VALORANT. On January 8, the Canadian streamer announced the organisation was disbanding their VALORANT team.

Disguised: a troubled path
At the beginning of 2023, Toast announced a line-up for his VALORANT roster team: Damion “XXiF” Cook, Drake “Exalt” Branly, Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar, Joshua “steel” Nissan, and Joseph “clear” Allen. The team qualified for VALORANT Challengers League: North America but didn’t go too far in the competition. Even with roster changes and the welcoming of Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, winner of The Game Awards Best Esports Athlete in 2022, they never accomplished much.
Disguised unveils new logo, merch, and plans for 2024
Disguised had a breakout year in 2023 and is gearing up for an even more outstanding year with their 2024 esports aspirations.

On July 2023, the team placed 6th/7th in the North AmericanGame Changersplayoffs. That marked theofficial departureof the team from the VALORANT competitive scene. Disguise came back in 2024 with a new logo, merch, and fresh plans for the year, including a new VALORANT roster in collaboration withBleed Esports.

However, 2024 was a better year for the organization. The team finished third in the group stage of split 2 of VCL Malaysia/Singapore 2024. In playoffs, the team finished first and secured a place in theVCT 2024: Ascension Pacifictournament. They finished the competition in the 7/8th place after being eliminated by BOOM Esports.
The problems resurfaced this week when Riot Games announced a partnership with SOOP for the SEA League. SOOP is a company dedicated to gaming and streaming. This partnership means the VALORANT Challengers League SEA will be exclusively transmitted by SOOP, narrowing the co-streamers' work.

Disguised says goodbye to VALORANT
“This would mean that we would not be able to stream our games for the next 10 months, until our team qualifies for Ascension”, the Disguise organization wrote onX. With the inability to stream their team’s games, Disguised announced the exiting of the league as well as the disbandment of the VALORANT team. Streamer Disguised Toast didn’t make any comments about it.
