SomeDiablo 4players have discovered that a few of the item descriptions in the game are wrong, and are therefore misleading gamers who don’t pay a lot of attention when equipping these items. Loot is one of the most important components ofDiablo 4, so some fans are disheartened to see that some of the game’s items may not work as described, especially if they arelegendary endgameDiablo 4loot.

Diablo 4is one of the most popular games of the year, rivaling titles such asZelda: Tears of the KingdomandHogwarts Legacyin popularity. So far, millions of players havedied countless times to The Butcher inDiablo 4, beat masses of enemies to a pulp, and explored many dungeons, all in the hopes of gaining better gear. However, it seems that the loot may not always be as good as it looks at first glance.

Now, as some players are diving deep intoDiablo 4’s loot system, they are starting to find some inconsistencies in the game’s formula, especially concerning item descriptions. The Reddit user SonofaBartfast shared a picture that showcased the issue. They explained that some items seem to “lie” about their benefits, using the example of an item that implies a number boost is based on the character’s max health, when it’s actually based on base health.

In the comments of the post, many other players agreed that the game had a few issues related to items, such aslow drops for endgame loot inDiablo 4, or design choices that may make the experience not as fun for some players.

This is not the only criticism thatDiablo 4players have against the game, though. Recently, severalDiablo 4gamers accused the dungeons of lazy design. Often, to these unhappy players, the dungeons in Blizzard’s new game feel repetitive. Some also complained about howDiablo 4lacked really big dungeons, like in previous titles, which had sprawling mazes that players could really get lost in. Hopefully, new updates will fix problems with item descriptions and perhaps improve the game’s overall content, including some more interesting dungeons for players to explore.

Diablo 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
