Get your team ready to take on Deoxys in Pokémon GO.
Deoxys is back in Pokémon GO Raids, with the Attack and Defense formes appearing from January 16 until January 24. All Deoxys forms have the same typing, meaning a lot of the information you need to know before the Raid is the same.
The only differences are the hundo CP values, and how many Trainers it takes to win the Raid. We’ve got that covered for both formes in this guide, so you can keep it to hand no matter which forme appears at your nearest Gym.

Best Deoxys counters in Pokémon GO:
Deoxys is a Psychic-type and has a weakness to Bug, Dark or Ghost-type attacks in Pokémon GO. Then, it has a resistance to Fighting and Psychic-type attacks.
There are lots of good Pokémon to use when battling any of the Deoxys formes in Pokémon GO. The standout of those being Mega Tyranitar, and then Tyranitar. If you have this Pokémon in your collection this is an absolute must-pick when taking on any of the Deoxys formes.
Otherwise, Dawn Wings Necrozma is a great pick. That Pokémon recently returned to the game during the special Necrozma Fusion Raid Day. Hopefully that means you have managed to get one ready to take on these Raids.
In terms of budget options, Incineroar is a fantastic choice for this Raid. Litten has had a Pokémon GO Community Day, and hopefully is a very easily accessible Pokémon to use. It won’t be as powerful as the likes of Tyranitar, but it is still an excellent Deoxys counter in Pokémon GO.
