One of Misko’s riddles sends Link to Cape Cales to find forgotten pirate treasure. Finding precisely where the cave is can be tricky because it is hidden away.
This guide will give you the location and directions to Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave inTears of the Kingdom.
Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave Location
The Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave is located at the following coordinates:3591, -3244, 0000.Even with these coordinates, it is hard to locate the cave. It is tucked away underneath Cape Cales, and to enter the cave, a clue from Misko’s riddle needs to be solved.
Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave Direction
The quickest way to get to the cave is to warp to Bamitok Shrine, located just north ofLurelin Village in East Necluda. Ascend out of the cavern the shrine stands, and then travel eastward. At around the following coordinates, turn left and begin the descent down the cliff:3544, -3215, 0219.
About halfway down, leap off and glide eastward until you see a little shore where there is wood. It is at the following coordinates:3660, -3285, 0003. Using the wood, build a raft. It doesn’t need to be fancy, though you can add some Zonai tech to it if you wish.
Once the craft is built, hop on it and head left back around the mountain. Not too far away, there should be a cave closed off by a gate. That’s the Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave. According to Misko’s riddle, the cave is opened by the “short, shrill song of wind through lips”.
The riddle describes a whistle. To whistle, press down on the D-pad. The cave will open, allowing Link to enter. Inside, there is a massive pirate shipwreck populated with monsters. A Bubbulfrog can also be found, along with Tingle’s Tights which are sealed in a treasure chest.
Claim these as your reward for making the long journey.

Solving Misko’s Riddles to Find the Tingle Armor Set
There are two more of Misko’s riddles to solve if you want to find the rest of the Tingle armor set. Here’s a quick rundown of all of Misko’s riddles in Totk that lead to this treasure.
To get each of the quests that give you the riddles, you’ll need to first complete the quest ‘Misko’s Cave of Chests’ at Cephla Lake Cave. The is cave is just to the west of Lake Cephla itself in the Eldin region, at coordinates 2613, 1314, 0149.
you may complete this quest quickly after picking it up from the nearby treasure hunters by giving food to their dog, who will tell you which of the numerous chests in the cave nearby contains the Ember Trousers, which are needed to complete the quest. Alternatively, you can open every chest, though it takes longer. The Cephla Lake Cave also contains the start of theFierce Deity Armorquest line.
After, you can speak to the treasure hunters from whom you picked up the quest to take any of the three quests listed below, in any order. You don’t have to pick up the quests to solve the riddles, but it’s certainly more fun that way. The first quest and riddle are covered in the guide above.
