Blizzard’s Pride Month collection features Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and more. Here are some canon LGBTQ+ characters.

Blizzard is celebrating Pride Month ahead of time with a bunch of new merch. It’s all for a good cause! Read on for details and for a list of some canon LGBTQ+ characters across Blizzard’s franchises.

Blizzard’s Pride Month collection

A new collection is now available in the Blizzard Gear Store. Named the “Pride Collection,” these items are appropriately themed in support of the LGBTQ+ community. The collection is also led by the Blizzard LGBTQ+ Employee Network.

According to Blizzard, proceeds from the sales between May 16 through June 30 are being donated to the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE). The NCTE advocates to “change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people.”

There are 16 items in total fromthe collection. The majority of them are t-shirts, and they refer to games such as Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Diablo. Other items include a hat, hoodie, socks, shoes, and a beach towel. These items feature a variation of Blizzard’s logo.

Blizzard’s LGBTQ+ characters

In Overwatch 2, Soldier: 76, Tracer, and Lifeweaver are canon LGBTQ+ characters. While a comic introduced a character named Emily as Tracer’s girlfriend, a short story revealed that Soldier: 76 had a lover named Vincent.

Lifeweaverwas recently introduced as a pansexual character. He flirts with Baptist in the game, and the latter responds well to it.

Meanwhile, confirmed queer characters in Hearthstone include Varden Dawngrasp and Chromie. As for World of Warcraft, a couple of LGBTQ+ characters include Flynn Fairwind and Mathias Shaw.
