Bill Nye is no alien to calling out climate change denier on their bullshit . He has been talk about climate variety on TV shows , Twitter , and in photographic print for decades .

He ’s also not one to shy away from the theme after natural catastrophe . After EPA chieftain Scott Pruit declined to discuss   global warming in the backwash of hurricanes Harvey and Irma , Nye tell an audience in no changeable terms that " Scott Pruitt is unseasonable , now is the time to talk mood variety . "

Now the Science Guy has turned his attention to media insurance coverage of mood variety , slamming Fox in a brilliant audience onWired’sGeeks Guide to the Galaxypodcast .

In Bill Nye ’s late playscript , he says that mood change is accept amongst the immature generation , and it ’s older generations that are doubter . Podcast host David Barr Kirtley asked Bill if climate change denier mainly consisted of older Fox News viewers .

“ I will take exception Fox News right now , ” Bill reply   inthe podcast .

“ What else do you cat spill the beans about except how bad the other side is ? What else do you have going on without straw men and women to knock down ? What else is your deal ? How much do you account on what ’s really drop dead on ? ”

Bill also attack Fox News for cover " deep state "   cabal theories , calling them troubling and silly .

" I just wish those guys would trim back it out and go back to being regular journalists and being generative . "

He start on to say that clime change denial is largely a generational exit , pointing out that it ’s very uncommon to fulfil a immature clime change denier .

" Climate change denial is almost always older multitude . And it ’s give way to be a near   disregard thing for man ; are those older people go to senesce out and stop over voting before or after it ’s too late to do a lot about climate change . We ’ll see . "

Bill is no unknown to chastising broadcasters . When CNN   tempt a climate change denier and himself to consider climate alteration , he told them " “ I will say , as much as I enjoy the CNN , you ’re doing a disservice by have one climate change skeptic , and not 97 or 98 scientists or railroad engineer concerned about clime modification . ”

Bill is hopeful , however , about the future . He said that events like Irma and Harvey would parent awareness of climate change in the states that were pretend .

“ It ’s very hard to tie any one upshot to worldwide warming and clime variety in real time . But as analysis get on over the next yoke years , I ’m pretty sure those storm events will be tied to orbicular thaw directly by computer models . "

He believe that clime alteration doubter can be win over , mention the primary meteorologist at CNN whousedto say clime variety was n’t a problem , but who has since changed his mind . Nye said it ’s not too late to save the planet and repeatedly called for everyone to get to work .

" If we were to pursue renewable vitality the way we pursued going to the moonshine , the way we go after win the second worldly concern warfare , we could do that . We could make all our electricity renewable . You could do 80 percent in 20 class , [ and ] 100 percent in twice that . "
