Pokémon TCG Pocket

Guides

With enough help from other cards, Togekiss can be a tough opponent to deal with.

This Togekiss deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket can catch other players off guard with its stalling capabilities and the high damage output of the Jubilee Pokémon as the game drags on.

Celsos Ricablanca

Togekiss is one of the most overlookedSpace-Time Smackdowncards due to the sheer power of other decks in the meta, such asDarkrai exandPalkia ex. However, few players realize that this card can be a force to reckon with when paired with the right cards, such as Hypno and Cynthia.

Togekiss deck list (Sleep variant)

Here is a sleep deck featuring Togekiss as the main attacker, supported by Hypno:

How to play Togekiss deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The Togekiss deck build above focuses on setting up Togekiss as fast as possible using Professor’s Research, Poké Ball, Mythical Slab, and Pokémon Communication.

While you develop your Togekiss, have Hypno annoy the opponent from the Bench using its Sleep Pendulum ability. The 50% chance of inflicting the Asleepspecial conditionon the opposing Active Pokémon is worth the gamble if it can give your Togekiss some extra turns to survive.

Togekiss’ Overdrive Smash won’t deal that much damage the first time you use it, but as long as you keep Togekiss alive until your next turn, the move becomes a serious threat with 120 damage.

If you have Cynthia in your hand, you can further increase Togekiss’ damage to as much as 170, which can Knock Out most Pokémon ex in the game.

Don’t forget to spam Hypno’s ability even after your Togekiss is online, so you can prevent your Togekiss from sustaining revenge kills from bulky and hard-hitting Pokémon.

Another notable card in the deck

Giant Cape

A couple of Giant Capes provide additional HP for your Togepi and Togetic, which are both vulnerable in the early game.

Strong against

Fighting-type decks that rely on Stage 2 Pokémon will have a hard time with this deck, especially once Togekiss has already used its Overdrive Smash.

Since this card doesn’t have high-rarity cards, you can use this build in Solo Mode missions and complete those Battle Tasks that prohibit you from using full-art cards and Pokémon ex.

Weak against

Togekiss might struggle with Pokémon (especially Dark-types) that can deal more than 60 damage. Bad RNG can also render Hypno useless on the Bench, leaving Togekiss exposed to counterattacks.
