Trevorrow co - wrote the moving-picture show withEmily Carmichael , who he ’s co - writing Jurassic World 3with , and shot the film in Ireland over five twenty-four hours last year on a shoestring budget . It features two new dinosaurs : a Nasutoceratops and an Allosaurus .
“ It felt like a first step into a larger public after the last film , ” Trevorrow bestow . “ You have these animal informal in an unfamiliar environment , they ’re disorient , sputter to adapt . The first masses they run into are bound to be camp down . I wanted to see that . ”
I have to say , I ’m scheme . Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdomfelt like a vast misfire to mewhen it was turn but the likely story it set up was undeniably coolheaded . This feels like a fun table - setter of what ’s to come .
