Thankfully, the game takes just about nothing to run it. If you have a modern computer at all that can pull up Steam, you’ll be able to play Backyard Baseball ‘97 with no problem. Let’s take a look anyways, just to be sure.

As just about all games do on Steam, Backyard Baseball ‘97 has a section for its system requirements. If you scroll downthe Steam page, you’ll find the minimum requirements on one side and the recommended requirements on the other.
What’s the difference? Well, it should be obvious by the names of each requirement. Minimum is what you’ll need to run the game on its lowest settings. Recommended is what the developers think you’ll need to experience the game how they’ve meant you to.
For a game made in 1997, it is getting slightly better graphics and performance due to its updated nature. Still, the requirements on both sides are laughably small.
