Frostmourne hungers in Warcraft Rumble.
Warcraft Rumble Season 13 is well underway, and what makes this particular season both exciting and nostalgic is the presence of Arthas Menethil. In Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft, Arthas was once a noble Paladin. However, after putting on the Helm of Domination in Northrend, he merged with Ner’zhul and became the Lich King. Now, in Warcraft Rumble, players can unlock him as a split leader unit.
Arthas enters Warcraft Rumble
In Warcraft Rumble, the Lich King as a mini is part of the Alliance and Undead families. At launch, he totals 1,100 health, deals 185 single-target physical damage, and has the Remorseless Winter, Lichborne, Army of the Dead, Armored, and Frost traits.
Warcraft Rumble Lich King talents
In terms of his talents, they are Death Grip, Necrotic Plague, and Purgatory. Necrotic Plague, in particular, has synergy with Soulshatter. Soulshatter is Arthas' leader ability that causes frosted enemies to die instantly if they take any damage while below 20% health. The Lich King must be on the map for this to work. Necrotic Plague also makes Soulshatter apply to Poisoned enemies.
Warcraft Rumble Lich King traits
As noted, the Lich King has the Remorseless Winter, Lichborne, Army of the Dead, Armored, and Frost traits. Of these, Remorseless Winter, Lichborne, and Army of the Dead are Warcraft Rumble’s newest ones.

How to unlock Arthas in Warcraft Rumble
If you would like to add Arthas to your Warcraft Rumble army, then he can be unlocked as part of an in-game, two-week event. According to Blizzard, you must defeat him and his minions in a series of three maps.
“Once unlocked, Arthas will be available in G.R.I.D until the event ends on, July 26, 2025,“Blizzard added.
Warcraft Rumble skins galore!
Arthas is the first leader unit to ever receive skins in Warcraft Rumble. The Prince Arthas one features him in the classic gold and blue Alliance colors. He also has color variants as the Lich King. These variants include Shadow, Royal, Pink, Ice Demon Hunter, and Blood.
In terms of other skins, there are on-theme Icecrown Tower ones, too. Don’t forget about the upcoming gold skins for the Tirion Fordring, Footmen, and Gryphon Rider units.
