Apex Legends Season 16 patch notes are out and there are a lot of changes. Here’s the full rundown.
It’s official the brand new season of Apex Legends will be called Revelry, and will welcome some major changes to the game. The official Apex Legends Season 16 patch notes have now been released.

Apex Legends Season 16 will come out on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Legend changes coming in Apex Legends Season 16
A total of seven Legends will receive changes for the upcoming Season 16, with Seer the recipient of quite a massive nerf.
Elsewhere Bloodhound, one of the original characters, sees their Ultimate reworked and white ravens now offering the recon legend additional intel.

Weapon changes for Apex Legends Season 16
Judging by the Apex Legends Season 16 patch notes, EA and Respawn are making a clear effort to make shotgun and SMGs the weapon of choice for close combat over ARs.

RANKED - MAP ROTATION
Ranked queue will now rotate through all maps in play, 24 hours per map. The maps for the first split are:
This means that Olympus will not be in the map rotation.

EA to “evolve the game” and warns that “nothing is safe”
“Nothing is safe, everything you know and love, there may be changes coming down the line. You’ve been warned,” said Steve Ferreira, Apex Legends' Game Director.
One example of this is confirmation that they will be shutting down Arenas and adding aTeam Deathmatchmode.

Nemesis: New energy weapon coming in Apex Legends Season 16
The Nemesis is a brand new energy weapon for Apex Legends Season 16. EA devs said they are “tuning this one hot” to compete with the likes of the R-301 and the Flatline. We got a glimpse of the new gun in theApex Legends Revelrylaunch trailer.
“Meet the Nemesis, a new energy class assault rifle that fires four rounds per burst. With a ramping burst delay that decreases the time between bursts and simulates a fully automatic weapon, the Nemesis is guaranteed to ruin the day of at least one Legend next match.“EA’s official description of Apex Legends' latest weapon

Apex Legends Season 16 patch notes: No new Legend
EA have confirmed that Season 16 will be the first season to not include a new Legend. Instead they have put their focus on reworking existing legends.
“We’re going to be doing a deep dive on existing legends, make a few buffs and a few nerfs. A few that we are going to touch are Lifeline, Seer and Wraith.”

Brand new Apex Legends class system
“This season we’ll be adjusting all Legends and introducing a rework to our Class system that we’re calling ‘Remastered Legend Classes’,” said EA in theirofficial post.
There will be a total of five classes each with “some kind of meaningful, unique perk - whether that be the way a Legend can interact with new loot bins or ways to revive team-mates”.
