This is strictly questioning but the gentle money would be on MacLachlan being some form of villain , right ? The head of a settlement or group who the show ’s leads ( likely play by Goggins and Purnell ) must jar with . He just has that front of someone very sure-footed and very powerful — and in a world where bottlecap are used as currency , someone confident and powerful is probably not larger-than-life .
It ’s going to be very interesting to see what Amazon and the squad behind this show do with what ’s a ostensibly infinite IP though . Video game adaptations , as we all know , do n’t have a not bad track record . But with those franchises now getting full show , like this and The Last of Us , instead of short motion picture , perhaps the jazz are turning .
