Eva Elfie promises to use her OnlyFans earnings to help the struggling TI12 prize pool.

A well-known adult star and influencer, Eva Elfie, has been making appearances with teams and players at The International 2023 (TI12). Her presence isn’t a surprise as she also collaborated with Tundra Esports at TI11 last year. A day before the final weekend of TI12, Eva Eflie pledges to contribute to TI12’s struggling prize pool using her OnlyFans platform.

The Dota 2 International remains one of the most lucrative and highest prize pool events in all of esports, but how is the T12 prize pool looking?

Eva Elfie wants to make a difference at TI12

In posts across her social media, Eva Elfie talked about what people felt were lacking with TI12. “People saying there are 3 bad things with this TI12: 1. The hotel is bad 2. The atmosphere is sad 3. The prize pool is poor,” she stated.

Her third point highlights the low prize pool for TI12, which barely verges $3.1 million at the time of writing. Although this number is massive across esports, it is an underwhelming amount when compared to the previous TIs. Dota 2 is renowned for its gigantic prizes, breaking the all-time esports prize pool with $40 million at TI10.

This low prize pool at TI12 isn’t unexpected. With no Dota 2 cosmetics in the Compendium – a crowdfunding event to contribute to TI12 prize pool – it is obvious that the prize pool will stoop low.

All my OF money earned during the event (starting from today) is gonna be added to the prize pool for the TI winners!

In her post, Eva Elfie pledges to donate all her OnlyFans earnings during the event to the Dota 2 prize pool. “It’s a much better way to spend 10 bucks than buying a compendium with no items in it,” she added.

UPDATE: Team Spirit refuses $25,000 from Eva Elfie

Eva Elfie’s campaign ended with $20,000 total earnings from OnlyFans. She also added $5,000 to increase the funds. She intended to personally give the collected money to Team Spirit - the TI12 champions. however, the organization refused to take the money, according to Eva Elfie’s post on social media.

She stated that she understood their decision. “It’s sports and not every organization is ready to be associated with that kind of stories,” the 23-year-old mentioned in her post.

The adult star now contemplates to either give the collected earnings to TI12 runner-up, Gaimin Gladiators or fund her personal tournament’s prize pool.

It’s some cheap PR stunt, so we refused. That’s not how it’s done. If you want to increase the prize pool, buy Compendium levels.

The reason why Team Spirit declined the money was then revealed in a livestream. The team’s manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, stated that it is a PR stunt and that if she wants to contribute to the prize pool, she needs to do it through the Compendium.

“Why did we refuse the gift from Eva Elfie? Strange question. Why would we need to promote someone? It’s some cheap PR stunt, so we refused. That’s not how it’s done. If you want to increase the prize pool, buy Compendium levels,” he stated.
